Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) proposes accepting funding from Blackhawk Evangelical Free Church, Inc. to support the Nurse Family Partnership (NFP) Program. Blackhawk Church is located in Dane County and part of the Evangelical Free Church of America. They provide a variety of support services and resources to people who are pregnant and families.
Specifically, PHMDC proposes accepting $400.00 to support the “Nurse Family Partnership Celebration of Families” event on June 23, 2019. These funds will be used to purchase food and gifts for the participants. This event is being held at the Vilas Park in Madison and will bring together families that are currently participating in the NFP program. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County may authorize PHMDC to accept and spend grant funds (IGA, VII, F, 1-3).
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County authorizes the Director of Public Health to accept $400.00 from Blackhawk Evangelical Free Church, Inc. to support the Nurse Family Partnership Program.
