License revenues of an estimated $500 have been included in the 2019 operating budget as part of the General Fund/Miscellaneous Licenses revenues administered by the City Clerk.

SUBSTITUTE RESOLUTION - Relating to 2019-2021 Commercial Quadricycle Licensure of Capitol Pedicycle DBA Trolley Pub.
Body
WHEREAS, the Capitol Pedaler’s has applied to renew its Commercial Quadricycle Licensure, effective July 1, 2019; and,

WHEREAS, Trolley Pub, requesting 3 Commercial Quadricycle vehicle permits; and,

WHEREAS, the Traffic Engineer has provided the Transit and Parking Commission with an investigative report on the applications and a recommendation to grant the license; and,

WHEREAS, Trolley Pub, in response to neighborhood complaints, have relocated their vehicle storage and staging location from 316 W. Washington (exit on Mifflin) to a new structure at its previous location at Buckingham’s Bar and Grill (802 Regent St.); and

WHEREAS, the Common Council recommends that the following actions be taken with respect to the above application for license:

Approval of the application for license to operate a Commercial Quadricycle company license and for 3 Commercial Quadricycle vehicle permits.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following licenses are issued, subject to the provisions and conditions as stated above and the ordinances of the City of Madison:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be instructed to issue the licenses authorized by this resolution upon the filing of personal liability and property damage indemnity as required by the Madison General Ordinances, upon filing of a schedule of fares applying to each license so granted as required by said ordinance, and upon registering with the City Clerk the identity of the owner of such licensed commercial quadricycle, and upon meeting the conditions as set forth above; and,
