The proposed resolution amends the adopted 2019 capital budget for Engineering Major Streets to accept $99,500 of reimbursement funding from the City of Fitchburg for the Raymond Road resurfacing project within the Pavement Management capital program. The City of Madison' share of the project is $28,000 which is funded in the adopted 2019 capital budget via the Pavement Management program by GO borrowing.

The City of Madison and the City of Fitchburg have determined the need for the resurfacing of the eastbound lanes of Raymond Road from 350 feet west of Harley Drive to 250 feet east of Shafer Drive. The right-of-way in the project area is in both the City of Madison and the City of Fitchburg. The City of Madison will resurface that segment of Raymond Road under contract 8319, Resurfacing 2019 - Asphalt Pavement Pulverizing, Milling & Paving. The City of Fitchburg will reimburse the City of Madison for the work within their jurisdiction.
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Raymond Road Resurfacing 2019, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with the City of Fitchburg for cost sharing.
3) That the 2019 Capital Budget of Engineering Major Streets, Pavement Management be amended to accept $99,500 of reimbursement funding from the City of Fitchburg.
