DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This amendment will extend the effective period of the Alcohol Overlay District, Sec. 28.127, MGO, to December 31, 2019.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subsection (4) of Section 28.127 entitled “Alcohol Overlay District” of the Madison General Ordinances is amended to read as follows:
“(4) This section is effective July 1, 2014 and shall expire and be of no legal effect on July 1, 2019 December 31, 2019, unless extended by the Common Council prior to the expiration date. The Common Council shall be notified of this provision by City staff at least one hundred twenty (120) days prior to this date.”
