Title
Dissolving the Allied Area Task Force.
Body
WHEREAS, the Allied Area Task Force was created on an ad hoc basis by the Common Council on March 1, 2005 (RES-05-00226); and,
WHEREAS, the Task Force met from May 26, 2005 to July 24, 2014; and,
WHEREAS, the Task Force was to make recommendations to the Mayor and the Common Council regarding the Mayor's Vision for Allied and any other focused sets of strategies, phases, and potential resources to help improve the Allied neighborhood over the next five years; and,
WHEREAS the Task Force provided the following reports to the Common Council:
• Interim Report on March 7, 2006 (Legislative File No. 03098)
• Employment Report on July 15, 2008 (Legislative File No. 11079)
• Safety & Security Report on July 5, 2011 (Legislative File No. 21678); and,
WHEREAS, the Mayor and the Common Council wants to publically thank the past and current members and staff of the Allied Area Task Force for their time and effort,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Mayor and the Common Council do hereby dissolve the Allied Area Task Force.
