Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution approves plan documents for the 2019 neighborhood traffic calming and pedestrian improvements for a total estimated cost of $440,000. Funding for the improvements is provided by GO Borrowing and is budgeted within the Engineering Major Streets capital budget via the Neighborhood Traffic and Pedestrian Improvements program (MUNIS 11877).

Body

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED:

 

1.                     That the plans and specifications for Local Road Traffic Calming & Arterial Pedestrian Enhancements-2019, be and are hereby approved.

 

2.                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for the required public works contract.

 

3.                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of the existing public fee title or easement rights-of-ways.
