Approving the Facility Access Permit Fee. (City Wide ADs)

On March 5, 2019, the Common Council adopted ORD-19-00014, which created Madison General Ordinances Section 10.057, establishing a facility access permit to regulate third party access, alteration or connection to City’s facilities, such as conduits, fiber, traffic signals and street lights.

 

Under MGO Section 10.057(5)(b), the City’s Traffic Engineering Division is to establish the facility access permit fee in an amount sufficient to recover the City’s costs administer the Facility Access Permit, which permit fee is to be approved by the Board of Public Works. 

 

The Traffic Engineering Division has determined that the initial permit fee for a Facility Access Permit should be set at $150.00.

 

That the Board of Public Works hereby approves the Facility Access Permit fee of $150.00 as established by the Traffic Engineering Division.
