Freddy’s Baseball League and Madison Parks would like to enter into an agreement regarding the use of Bowman Baseball Field at Bowman Park. Participants in Freddy’s Baseball League are primarily Latinx, which serves an important part of the Madison community. In 2011, the league stopped playing at Bowman for a number of reasons. In 2019, Freddy’s Baseball League contacted Madison Parks about re-starting their league. Currently, Madison Parks has a fee modification with Men’s Adult Baseball League (MABL). Following that model, Parks and Freddy’s Baseball League determined it would be mutually beneficial to enter into a fee modification for use of Bowman Park Baseball Field.

 

For comparison, 2019 standard Bowman Baseball Field rates are $50/hour and $15/quarter hour of light use.
