Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution authorizes the Department of Transportation to continue to study the Wilson Street corridor for future improvements. No appropriation is required at this time as staff in the Department of Transportation will work on recommendations as part of their budgeted work duties as part of the funded salaries in the adopted 2019 operating budget.  The adopted 2019 CIP reflects the Wilson Street reconstruction project from Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd to King Street as planned for construction in 2022 with unidentified TIF funding. Recommendations from the Department of Transportation will provide guidelines for the future plans of the project.
