The proposed resolution reopens and approves an amended final schedule of assessments for the Darwin Road - Packers Avenue Traffic Signal Assessment District. The total cost of the signal installation is $129,736. The amendment increases the city portion of the project by $465 and reduces the assessment portion by $465. Funds for the city's share of $76,535 are available in the Traffic Engineering Traffic Signal Infrastructure Project (Munis 10427).

Body
WHEREAS, the Darwin Road - Packers Avenue Traffic Signal Assessment District was created by RES-16-00016 on January 5, 2016; and,
WHEREAS, plans, specifications and a preliminary schedule of assessments for the District were approved by RES-17-00297 on April 18, 2017; and,
WHEREAS, following completion of the project, a final schedule of assessments for the District was approved by RES-18-00587 on August 7, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, it has been discovered that a property was not included in the preliminary or final schedule of assessments and that in order to properly apportion the assessable costs to properties within the District, the schedule of assessments needs to be amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to Madison General Ordinances Sec. 4.09(9), the Darwin Road - Packers Avenue Traffic Signal Assessment District is hereby reopened and the final schedule of assessment attached to RES-18-00587 is hereby amended per the attached amended final schedule of assessment; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the sums so charged to the abutting property be and are hereby assessed and levied upon said property payable by the owners of the lots or parcels of land benefited as determined by the Board of Public Works, and in accordance with its recommendations, the amount so charged to each of the lots or parcels of land so benefited being as follows, to wit:
