Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution approves plan documents for necessary public improvements coinciding with a private developer contract. Costs to the City for the improvements are not to exceed $25,000 and are funded by GO Borrowing within the Reconstruction Streets via the adopted 2019 capital budget for Engineering Major Streets.

Title

Body
WHEREAS, the developer, Madison Area Technical College, will remove an existing tennis court and construct a new parking lot at 3201 Anderson Street, and,
WHEREAS, Section 16.23(9) of the Madison General Ordinances and the conditions of approval require the developer to install the public improvements necessary to serve the project.
WHEREAS, the developer received approval for the project on February 8, 2019 by Resolution RES-19-00065, File Number 54411; and,
WHEREAS, the City shall reimburse the developer, up to the statutory limit, for street improvements beyond the scope of work that benefit the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Fiscal Note was incorrect in Resolution RES-19-00065, File Number 54411.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute a Contract For the Construction of Public Improvements that will be accepted by the City of Madison For 3201 Anderson Street - Straubel St. Improvements, with Madison Area Technical College.
2. That the plans and specifications for the public improvements necessary to serve the development are hereby approved.
