Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution approves plan documents for the scheduled bridge repairs in 2019 at a total estimated cost of $400,000. Funding is provided by GO Borrowing in the adopted 2019 capital budget via the Bridge Repair capital program in Engineering Major Streets.

PREAMBLE

 

The annual bridge inspections have identified the need for repairs on the East Washington Bridge over STH 30.   The railings and bridge are in need of painting and we will apply a polymer overlay to protect the bridge deck. 

 

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Bridge Repairs - 2019 be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
