Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution awards the contract for the pavement resurfacing of Reetz Road and Altem Circle at a total estimated cost of $832,500. Funding for the project is budgeted within the adopted 2019 capital budget via Engineering Major Streets within the Pavement Management capital program. Funding for the project is provided by GO Borrowing for the project components as follows:
Major Streets - $714,040
Stormwater Utility - $118,460

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidder contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
