Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution awards the contract for the Metro Transit Service Lane Addition at the Metro Transit operations facility located on East Washington Avenue at a total estimated cost of $7,620,050. The project is budgeted within the 2019 capital budget via the Metro Transit Facility Repairs and Improvements capital program; this contract is for the first phase of a five-phased renovation plan at the facility. Budgeted funding is provided by GO Borrowing.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidder contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
