Fiscal Note

As stated in the Employment Agreement between the City of Madison and Michelle M. Drea, the City Assessor’s salary will be based on a total annualized rate of $120,000 effective November 1, 2018. The City Assessor position is approved and funded in the 2019 Adopted Operating Budget. Annual salary adjustments may be made during the term of the agreement at the Mayor’s discretion, subject to Common Council approval.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Michelle M. Drea to the position of City Assessor and has recommended to the Common Council that  her appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Michelle Drea,

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Ms. Drea's appointment to the position of City Assessor is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Drea.
