BOH RESOLUTION #2018-23 AUTHORIZATION TO ACCEPT FUNDS FROM WISCONSIN DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH SERVICES TO SUPPORT THE PUBLIC HEALTH EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND COMMUNICABLE DISEASE PREVENTION PROGRAMS

Body

Public Health-Madison and Dane County (PHMDC) proposes accepting funding from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on behalf of the Division of Public Health to support two programs. Specifically, PHMDC proposes accepting $4,700 to support Public Health Emergency Preparedness efforts and $24,700 to support Communicable Disease Prevention work throughout the City and the County. Under the terms of the merger agreement, the Board of Health for Madison and Dane County may authorize PHMDC to accept and spend grant funds (IGA, VII, F, 1-3).

 

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Health for Madison Dane County, on behalf of Public Health-Madison and Dane County, authorizes the Director of Public Health to accept $4,700 for Public Health Emergency Preparedness and $24,700 for Communicable Disease Prevention.
