Accepting improvements constructed by Private Contract for 1000 Oaks Park Improvements, Private Contract No. 8069. (9^th AD)

Body

WHEREAS, VH 1000 Oaks, LLC has satisfactorily completed the installation of parkland improvements by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction for 1000 Oaks Park Improvements, Contract 8069.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED

1.  That said parkland improvements, including grading and restoration, erosion control, and storm sewer be and are hereby accepted.

2. That parkland improvements are hereby assigned to the Parks Division for ownership.

3.  That the parkland improvements shall be the responsibility of VH 1000 Oaks, LLC to maintain for a period of 3 years after the initial acceptance of the improvements, with the maintenance requirements expiring October 1, 2021. 

4.  That after October 1, 2021 the parkland improvements will be assigned to the Parks Division for maintenance.
