Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution authorizes a contract with Sarah Edgerton to serve as the Information Technology Director. The proposed five year contract begins in 2018 and commences in 2023. The proposed annual salary for the position is $135,000. This position is fully funded in IT’s 2018 Adopted Operating Budget and the 2019 Executive Budget.

Body

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has appointed Sarah H. Edgerton to the position of Director of Information Technology and has recommended to the Common Council that her appointment be confirmed; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Edgerton,

NOW THEREFORE, be resolved that Ms.Edgerton's appointment to the position of Director of Technology is hereby confirmed, and the Mayor and the City Clerk’s office are authorized to execute an Employment Agreement between the City and Ms. Edgerton.
