                    RESOLUTION

 

WHEREAS, the Community Development Authority (CDA) is the owner of Monona Shores Apartments located at 2 Waunona Woods Ct; and,                     

 

WHEREAS, the CDA entered into a property management agreement with Broihahn Property Management, LLC in 1999 to provide property management services at Monona Shores Apartments; and,

 

WHEREAS, the property management agreement has been renewed annually, will expire on December 31, 2018 and authorizes Broihahn Property Management, LLC to contract for services on behalf of the owner; and,

 

WHEREAS, Monona Shores Apartments has two (2) boilers located in building numbers two (2) and four (4) that have failed and need to be replaced before the winter season; and,

 

WHEREAS, the project to replace two high efficiency boilers was advertised in accordance with the state statutes governing redevelopment authorities; and,

 

WHEREAS, R.A. Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. has submitted the lowest responsible bid of $90,384.00 $121,400.00.

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Community Development Authority authorizes Broihahn Property Management, LLC to execute a purchase of services contract with R.A. Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. for Monona Shores Apartments on behalf of the CDA in the amount of $90,384.00 $121,400.00.

 

Be it further resolved that the execution of change orders to this contract are subject to the approval of the CDA Board Secretary.
