Title

Amending various sections of the Madison General Ordinances to correct inconsistencies and improper references in the Madison General Ordinances, constituting the 2018 City Attorney Reviser’s Ordinance.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This is the annual City Attorney's Reviser's ordinance, correcting certain parts of the Madison General Ordinances (MGO), the City's code of ordinances. 

The proposed changes in this ordinance are as follows:                     

1.                     Sec. 1.08(3)(a), MGO, is amended to correct an inaccurate reference.

2.                     Sec. 4.20(10), MGO, is amended to update an obsolete term and reference.

3.                     The title of Sec. 4.29, MGO, is amended to add “Policy on Receipt of Gifts” to the section title.

4.                     Sec. 7.07(8)(a), MGO, is amended to correct an obsolete reference.

5.                     Sec. 31.071(4), MGO, is amended to correct a typographical error.

6.                     The title of Sec. 33.13, MGO, is amended to add “Office and Chief of Staff” to the section title.

7.                     Sec. 45.07(7)(b)1.a.iii., MGO, is amended to correct a typographical error.
