Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution authorizes an addendum to the Employee Agreement between the City of Madison and City Engineer Rob Phillips to include the services and duties of Public Works Team Leader. The contract addendum results in an annualized increase in base salary of $15,000. If adopted, the contract addendum will be effective beginning September 4^th, 2018.  Funding for the increased cost of the contract addendum for the remainder of 2018 is available within the budgeted salary amounts authorized in the adopted 2018 operating budgets for the Engineering Division, Stormwater Utility, Sewer Utility, and Landfill.

WHEREAS, Mayor Soglin has assigned Robert F. Phillips to perform the duties of Public Works Team Leader; and

WHEREAS, the parties have reached an accord on the terms and conditions of an Addendum to Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Phillips.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are authorized to execute an Addendum to Employment Agreement between the City and Mr. Phillips.
