The City of Madison Parks Division has received a request from the Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD) for the installation and operation of an MMSD sanitary sewer line (the “Facilities”) within a portion of Reindahl Park (“the Park”) located at 1818 Portage Road and 3909 East Washington Avenue. This project will install a new sanitary line running from the intersection of Highway 51 and Reider Road, to the intersection of Lien Road and Thierer Road as shown in Alternative 3. The new line will increase capacity and boost resiliency of the district’s wastewater collection system.
