Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution awards the contract for the reconstruction of Glenview Drive, Joylynne Drive, and Woodlawn Drive at a total cost of $2,286,740 million. The reconstruction of these streets are planned within the adopted 2018 capital budget via Engineering Major Streets Reconstruction Streets capital program (MUNIS 11650); $14.83 million is budgeted for the program in 2018. The total project cost assigned to the Engineering budget and associated utilities is as follows:

 

Engineering Major Streets - $687,940

Stormwater Utility - $275,400

Sewer Utility - $730,850

Water Utility - $592,550

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
