The proposed resolution authorizes the award of Public Works Contract No. 8128, Hilldale Way - Maple Terrace - University Avenue Traffic Signal Assessment District. The estimated cost of the project is $276,890. The Traffic Engineering 2018 Capital Budget includes $820,000 for Traffic Signal Installation (Munis project 10427). Funding is available in the minor projects listed on the attached.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein; and subject to the approval of the intergovernmental agreement for cost sharing of the project by the Village of Shorewood Hills.
