No Appropriation Required. The proposed resolution adds the position of Transportation Director the the list of Managerial Employees. The adopted 2018 operating budget assigned $100,000 of funding to create the Director of Transportation position.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance adds the position of Transportation Director to the list of managerial Compensation Group 21 employees. The position is further described in Section 3.14 of the Madison General Ordinances.

The Common Council of the City of Madison do hereby ordain as follows:
Subdivision (b) entitled “Positions” of Subsection (9) entitled “Compensation of Managerial Employees” of Section 3.54 entitled “Compensation Plan” of the Madison General Ordinances is amended by creating therein the following:
“Transportation Director”
