Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution changes the classifciation range for the Water Utility's five "Waterworks Operator 2" positions from CG16-RG15 to CG16-RG17. The reclassification results in a total annualized cost increase per position, including salary and benefits, of $3,500. If the resolution is adopted, the resulting total annualized cost increase for the five positions (#1771, 1781, 1748, 1797, 1800) is $17,500. The Water Utility will absorb the increase salary and benefit cost of the reclassifications wtihin the adopted 2018 operating budget through savings from existing vacant positions and staff turnover.

Be it further resolved that positions 1771, 1781, 1784, 1797, and 1800 are recreated as 1.0 FTE Waterworks Operator 2s in the new CG and Range and the incumbents (#1771-T. Arneson, #1781-M. Jabs, #1784-K. Jafferis, #1797 D. Lynch, #1800-K. Singh) are reallocated to the new positions, all in the Water Utility operating budget, thereof.
