This proposed resolution amends the 2018 Adopted Metro Transit Operating Budget to accept a private donation from the Dudgeon Monroe Neighborhood Association to purchase 6 benches for bus stops in the Dudgeon Monroe neighborhood. The total donation amount will not exceed $10,000.

Body

WHEREAS, the Dudgeon Monroe Neighborhood Association has collected money for benches at bus stops in their neighborhood and wish to donate those funds to Metro Transit to purchase and install those benches;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Metro Transit, on behalf of the City of Madison, is authorized to accept funding not to exceed $10,000 from the Dudgeon Monroe Neighborhood Association in order to purchase and install approximately 6 benches to bus stops in the Dudgeon Monroe neighborhood;

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the 2018 Adopted Operating Budget of the Transit Utility is amended to appropriate these funds from the Dudgeon Monroe Neighborhood Association.
