Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution confirms the creation of a Paralegal-Mediator position in the Department of Civil Rights as adopted in the 2018 operating budget (Position #4699). Adopted Common Council budget amendment #1 approved the new position at an annual cost of $74,000 inclusive of salary and benefits; the position is anticipated to be funded 60% by the General Fund and 40% by the annual EEOC grant.
