Accepting sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) constructed by Private Contract In The Meadowlands Phase 6, Private Contract No. 2355

Body

WHEREAS, Veridian Homes AB, LLC, has satisfactorily completed the installation of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) by private contract, in accordance with the City of Madison Standard Specifications for Public Works Construction, in:  The Meadowlands Phase 6.

 

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED

 

1.  That said sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and street improvements (including bituminous surface pavement) be and are hereby accepted. 

 

2. That said sanitary sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Sewer Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Sewer Utility's "Utility Plant In Service". 

 

SANITARY SEWER ACCOUNTING DATA

3. That said storm sewer improvements are hereby assigned to the Madison Storm Water Utility for ownership and maintenance and that the attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements shall be reflected in the Madison Storm Water Utility's "Utility Plant In Service". 

 

 

Increase in Total Plant Value per Schedule “A”                     $80,423.93.

 

 

4. That the street improvements, including the bituminous pavement, on the following streets be and are hereby accepted:

 

 

                     Juneberry Drive from the north line of Lot 704 to the south line of Lot 108

                     Reston Heights Drive from the west line of Lot 111 to the east line of lot 136

                     Shady Leaf Road Alley from the west line of Lot 109 to Juneberry Drive

                     Juneberry Drive from Juneberry Drive to the east line of Lot 136

                     Juneberry Drive from the north line of Lot 138 to the south line of Lot 139

 

 

 

The attached Schedule "A" representing the actual cost of construction of these improvements, which shall increase the street infrastructure value for Project No. 53B2355  $ 115,844.23 for a useful life of 40 years.
