Amending Sections 28.061 and 28.151 of the Madison General Ordinances to allow colleges and universities in the Commercial Center as a permitted use and in the Commercial Corridor-Transitional Districts as a conditional use, and to require the filing of a transportation demand management plan.

Body

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS:  This amendment will allow colleges and universities in the Commercial Center (CC) District as a permitted use and in the Commercial Corridor-Transitional District (CC-T) District as a Conditional Use.  This amendment also amends the supplemental regulations for colleges and universities in order to require that any user establishing a college and university use in the commercial and mixed-use districts file a transportation demand management plan that is approved by the Traffic Engineer.
