Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution approves plan documents for Crazylegs Plaza and Wingra Park entrance as part of the planned Monroe Street Reconstruciton project in 2018 as proposed in the executive capital budget. The estimated cost of the improvements is $250,000 which is sufficiently planned within the proposed 2018 project budget.

Monroe Street will be reconstructed in 2018. As part of the project, improvements will be made at Wingra Park Entrance and Crazylegs Plaza. Both locations required additional public input and landscape design, therefore a consultant was hired to design the public spaces and further engage the public. The attached final designs are a result of several meetings with staff, consultants and the public.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the plans and specifications for Capital Crazylegs Plaza and Wingra Park Entrance, be and are hereby approved;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project;
