Fiscal Note
The proposed ordinance change revises the bail amount from $25 to $75 for the first offense of selling nicotine products by a retailer, manufacturer, distributer, jobber, or subjobber to persons under 18 years of age. There were 18 tickets issued under the ordinance in 2016 and two year to date in 2017. The fiscal impact from this change, if any, is expected to be minimal.

DRAFTER'S ANALYSIS: This ordinance increases the bail deposit for a retailer, manufacture, distributer, jobber or subjobber for the first offense of selling nicotine products to persons under 18 years of age.
