I hereby submit, for your consideration and approval, the following resident committee appointments.

 

 

EARLY CHILDHOOD CARE AND EDUCATION COMMITTEE

 

LANA NENIDE (19th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member. Ms. Nenide is the Executive Director of the Wisconsin Alliance for Infant Mental Health. In addition, she is faculty at the University of Wisconsin Infant, Early Childhood and Family Mental Health Capstone Certificate Program. Ms. Nenide succeeds Sagashus T. Levingston.

TERM EXPIRES: 9-30-2019

 

 

MADISON ARTS COMMISSION

 

FAISAL ABDU’ ALLAH (5th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member. Mr. Abdu’Allah is an artist who has had several showings, including at the Tate Modern, Studio Museum Harlem and The Royal Academy. He is also a professor at the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Abdu’Allah succeeds Briony Jean Foy.

TERM EXPIRES: 4-30-2020

 

FRANCESCA RODRIQUEZ (5th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member. Ms. Rodriquez is the Foundation Officer for the Madison Public Library Foundation. She volunteers with numerous organizations including the Knight Foundation and Monroe Street Arts Center. Ms. Rodriquez succeeds Sarah Sosa-Acevedo.

TERM EXPIRES: 4-30-2020

 

 

MADISON FOOD POLICY COUNCIL

 

ERICA ANDERSON (2nd A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Member. Ms. Anderson currently holds the Youth Member position and has served since 3-3-2015. She succeeds Topf Wells.

TERM EXPIRES: 10-1-2019

 

 

PUBLIC SAFETY REVIEW COMMITTEE

 

GIDEON AMOAH (7th A.D.) - appoint to the remainder of a three-year term to the position of Alternate. Mr. Gideon is retired, having most recently worked as a research administrator for the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He has been involved with numerous organizations, including volunteering with the Ghana Association of Madison. Mr. Amoah succeeds Bruce Frey.

TERM EXPIRES: 4-30-2018
