Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution accepts a report from Planning Division staff on the recommendations contained in the White House Housing Development Toolkit. Common Council adopted RES-17-00092 (File ID: 42490) requested Planning Division staff to review and assess the City’s housing development policies using the White House Development Toolkit and identify potential policy modifications. No appropriation is required with the acceptance of this report. City costs associated with implementation of any recommendations and policy changes will be included in future operating and capital budgets subject to Common Council approval.

WHEREAS, Substitute Resolution, File #42490 directs the Planning Director, Housing Initiatives Specialist, and Zoning Administrator to prepare and submit a review of the White House Housing Development Toolkit to the Mayor and the Common Council.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council accepts the report of the Planning Director, Housing Initiatives Specialist, and Zoning Administrator on the recommendations contained in the White House Housing Development Toolkit.
