The proposed resolution awards Public Works Contract No. 7927, 2017 Brittingham Park Accessible Playground, for $256,553. The 2017 Parks Division adopted capital budget includes $160,000 allocated to Playgrounds Brittingham (Munis Project 17440) funded by GO Borrowing and Impact Fees. The 2015 Parks Division adopted capital budget includes $230,00 allocated to Brittingham Park (Munis Project 10642) funded by Impact Fees. Funding is available in these projects for this contract.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
