Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2017 capital budget the Stormwater Utility has budgeted $1.14 million of reauthorized GO borrowing for the improvement of public shorelines on the City’s lakes, creeks, and rivers via the Shorelines capital program (MUNIS 10340). Additionally the Parks Department has budgeted $630,000 of GO Borrowing for their improvements to the City’s beaches and shorelines via the Beach and Shorelines Improvements capital program (MUNIS 10605).
The proposed resolution authorizes the plan documents for the Yahara Place Park shoreline improvements in 2017 at a total estimate cost of $101,710. $80,218 will be funded via the Stormwater program and $21,492 will be funded via the Parks program.

BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Yahara Place Park Shoreline 2017, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
