Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution amends the Streets Division's adopted 2017 capital budget by appropriating $214,542 of additional GO borrowing to fully fund a contract to improve the pavement at the Sycamore Avenue location within Streets Yard Improvements capital program (MUNIS 11005). The total estimated cost of the project is $625,000; the existing budget includes $410,458 that will be used for the project.

Amending the adopted 2017 Capital Budget to appropriate $214,542 of GO borrowing for the Streets Division pavement improvement project at the Sycamore Ave location within the Streets Yard Improvement program.

Body

WHEREAS the Board of Public Works in resolution number 46139 received authorization to advertise and receive bids for the Sycomare Avenue pavement replacement project at a estimated cost of $625,000 , and

WHEREAS the Streets Division is reprioritizing $410,458 of appropriated GO borrowing from Streets Equipment (Project 10710) for the Sycamore Ave pavement replacement within the Streets Yard Improvement program (MUNIS 11005), and

WHEREAS a remaining $214,542 of GO borrowing is needed to fund the full $625,000 contract within the Streets Yard Improvements (Project 11005) in 2017, and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the adopted 2017 capital budget is amended so that $214,542 of GO borrowing is appropriated to the Streets Yard Improvements program (MUNIS 11005).
