Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2017 capital budget Engineering Pedestrian/Bicycle has budgeted $2.31 million for the repair and installation of sidewalks throughout aldermanic districts 15 and 17. The proposed resolution approves plan documents for these 2017 sidewalk program costs at a total estimated cost of $410,000. Funding is provided by GO Borrowing and special assessments.

PREAMBLE
This citywide program provides repairs, replacements, and new installations of sidewalk, curb & gutter, and concrete pavement.
BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for Sidewalk, Curb & Gutter, and Concrete Pavement Patches, Citywide Installation and Repair - 2017 , be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
