Fiscal Note
The proposed resolution authorizes $70,460 for construction of the Darwin Road - Packers Avenue Traffic Signal. The Packers - Darwin Traffic Signal project (Munis #17449) has $48,273 of available expenditure authority funded by GO borrowing. A resolution (Legistar 46372) increasing the authority by $54,580 funded by special assessments was adopted by the Board of Estimates on March 13, 2017, and will go before the Council on March 21, 2017. If Legistar 46372 is adopted by Council, funding will be available in the project for the traffic signal construction.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
