The proposed resolution does not impact the monetary amont of payments made by Dane County to the City of Madison for MA Waiver rides taken on paratransit. The proposed resolution will update the Terms of Payment so there will be two payments per year; one in June and one in December, rather than one payment at the end of the year to correct the estimated amounts to actual amounts.

Authorizing the Mayor and the City Clerk to enter into this First Amendment to the 2017 Service Agreement for MA Waiver Rides Between the City of Madison and Dane County.
Body
WHEREAS Metro Transit was advised by auditors to modify the timing of payment from Dane County to the City of Madison for MA Waiver rides; and
WHEREAS the 2017 MA Waiver agreement has been fully executed with the old payment timing; and
WHEREAS Metro Transit would like to amend the contract to reflect the updated payment schedule recommended by the auditors;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized to enter into this First Amendment to the 2017 Service Agreement for MA Waiver Rides Between the City of Madison and Dane County.
