Fiscal Note
The 2017 adopted capital budget includes $1,240,000 for Playground/Accessibility Improvements (Munis #17436) funded by GO Borrowing ($645,000), Impact Fees ($520,000), federal sources ($40,000) and private contributions ($35,000). The 2015 adopted capital budget included $140,000 for the Allied Drive Area NRT Request (Munis #10543) for the construction of a basketball court, fencing, and other improvements funded by GO borrowing and private contributions. A resolution passed in April 2016 (Legistar 42277), appropriated an additional $170,000 from impact fees to the project for park development efforts in the Allied Drive neighborhood. The proposed resolution authorizes the Board of Public Works to advertise and receive bids for Playgrounds Group 2, estimated at $519,050. Funding is available within the above projects.

BE IT RESOLVED,
1) That the plans and specifications for 2017 Playgrounds Group 2, be and are hereby approved.
2) That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.
3) That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
