The proposed resolution approves transfer of $10,000 from the Amended Purchase of Service Agreement with Urban Assets, LLC to the Parks Division for a placemaking activity which was recommended as part of the University Hill Farms Neighborhood Plan process by the City-appointed University Hill Farms Ad Hoc Steering Committee. No new appropriation is required.

WHEREAS, in 2013 the Planning Division hired Urban Assets, LLC to assist in the preparation of the University Hill Farms Neighborhood Plan and work with the City-appointed University Hill Farms Ad Hoc Steering Committee to select a placemaking project within the planning study area; and
WHEREAS, the University Hill Farms Ad Hoc Steering Committee selected an intergenerational placemaking project for Rennebohm Park consisting of an outdoor table tennis and chess table with stools; and
WHEREAS, the transfer of $10,000 for the placemaking project in the Urban Assets, LLC Amended Purchase of Service Agreement to the Parks Division will provide Parks Division the designated placemaking funds to facilitate the purchase, delivery, and installation of the placemaking project.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Purchase of Service Contract #14000089 with Urban Assets, LLC for University Hill Farms Neighborhood Plan and Placemaking Project is hereby amended by transferring $10,000 to the Parks Division to carry out the approved project.
