Fiscal Note

The adopted 2017 Operating and Capital budgets contain funding for Traffic Engineering and Engineering-Ped/Bike sufficient for the total estimated 2017 epoxy pavement marking costs for this contract.  Out-year budgets for 2018 and 2019 will be planned accordingly to encompass the scheduled costs of the contract terms.

 

The proposed resolution awards the contract at an estimated cost of $200,000 in 2017, $250,000 in 2018, and $249,482.50 in 2019.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
