Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2017 Capital Budget the Parks Division has budgeted $1.29M for improvements to Madison’s Community, Neighborhood, and Mini Parks under the Park Land Improvements program (MUNIS 17421).  This program has sufficient funding for the proposed work in this resolution.  Funding is provided by GO borrowing, Impact Fees, and Private Contributions/Donations.

 

The proposed resolution approves plan documents for Tennis and Basketball Court Resurfacings project at an estimated cost of $60,000.

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for 2017 Tennis and Basketball Court Resurfacings, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
