Fiscal Note
In the adopted 2017 capital budget Engineering-Other Projects has budgeted $122,425 for the landscaping of boulevards throughout the City via the Right of Way Landscaping and Trees program (MUNIS 11082). The minor project for median landscaping in 2017 is established with sufficient budget authority for the estimated cost of the proposed contract. Funding is provided by a direct appropriation from the General Fund.
The proposed resolution awards the contract at an estimated cost of $33,180.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
