Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 Capital Budget Engineering - Bike/Ped has budgeted $680,000 for the resurfacing of existing bike paths with deficient pavement ratings via the Bikeways Program (MUNIS 10138).  The minor project for the bike and pedestrian path from Powers Avenue to Highway 30 is budgeted with sufficient authority for the proposed cost of the work (MUNIS10160).  Funding is provided by GO Borrowing.

 

The resolution approves plan documents at a total estimated cost of $640,000.

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Path Under Highway 30, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
