Fiscal Note
This resolution amends the adopted 2016 Capital Budget by reallocating $2,120 of GO borrowing budget authority from the General Building Improvements project (MUNIS 11074) to the City Channel Move & Remodel project (10574) and adds $2,550 of County funding to close the City Channel Move & Remodel project (10574). There is no increase in expenditure to the City as this resolution is only authorizing the movement of existing funding and addition of Dane County supported funding.

Title
Amending the 2016 Capital Budget of Facilities Management to Close Out the City Channel Project
Body
WHEREAS the 2015 Capital Budget included $800,000 for the move and remodel of City Channel; and
WHEREAS RES-15-00827 transferred $244,362 of GO Bond backed budget authority from other projects and added $130,580 of budget authority for additional work for Dane County to be done along with the project; and
WHEREAS the final cost of the project exceeded budget by $4,660; and
WHEREAS this overage can be broken down to $2,120 City and $2,550 County; and
WHEREAS Facilities Management can cover the City related overage through a transfer from its General Building Improvement project; and
WHEREAS the County overage will be included in the total billed to the County for the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the 2016 Capital Budget of Facilities Management is hereby amended to increase the budget authority of the City Channel project by $2,120 through a transfer from the General Building Improvements project; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2016 Capital Budget of Facilities Management is hereby amended to increase the budget authority of the City Channel project by $2,550 through an increase in the funding from Dane County for their share of the project.
