Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 Capital Budget the Parks Division has budgeted $250,000 for Esther Beach Improvements (MUNIS 17140-51-130). This project provides funding for improvements to Esther Beach Park in accordance with the adopted Esther Beach Park master plan. The adopted 2016 Capital Budget for the Parks Division has budgeted $1.72M for Playground/Accessibility Improvements (MUNIS 17438-51-130). This program has sufficient funding for the proposed work in this resolution.  Funding is provided by GO borrowing.

 

The proposed resolution awards the contract for the Esther Beach Park Phase II Improvements at an estimated cost of $261,930.

BE IT RESOLVED, that the following low bids for miscellaneous improvements be accepted and that the Mayor and City Clerk be and are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with the low bidders contained herein, subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 39.02 of the Madison General Ordinances concerning compliance with the Affirmative Action provisions and subject to the Contractor's compliance with Section 33.07 of the Madison General Ordinances regarding Best Value Contracting:

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds be encumbered to cover the cost of the projects contained herein.
