Fiscal Note

In the adopted 2016 capital budget the Sewer Utility has budgeted $2.305 million for the rehabilitation of failing sewers within the Trenchless Sewer Rehabilitation capital program (MUNIS 10450).  The minor project for cured-in-place-piping (CIPP) improvements is established for the work specified in this proposed contract.  Funding is provided by Utility reserves.

 

The proposed resolution approves plan documents at a total estimated cost of $878,835. That total is comprised of $788,325 for Sewer Utility improvements, and $90,510 for Stormwater Utilty improvements.

Body

BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED:

 

1.                     That the plans and specifications for CIPP Rehab of Sanitary and Storm Sewers - 2016, be and are hereby approved.

 

2.                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3.                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to accept dedication of lands and/or easements from the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
