Fiscal Note

The proposed resolution approves plan documents to receive bids for the Madison Water Utility Vehicle Storage Building Improvements component of the Paterson Street Operations Center remodel (MUNIS 10442). The estimated cost of this work is $3 million. In the 2017 Executive Capital Budget the Water Utility has budgeted $4.325 million for work associated with the Paterson Street remodel project.  Funding is provided by Revenue Bonds.


The proposed resolution approves plan documents at an estimated cost of $3 million, which is budgeted in the Water Utility's 2017 Executive Capital Budget.

Body

BE IT RESOLVED,

 

1)                     That the plans and specifications for Madison Water Utility Vehicle Storage Building Improvements, be and are hereby approved.

 

2)                     That the Board of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to advertise and receive bids for said project.

 

3)                     That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to sign and grant easements or right-of-way release or procurement documents, maintenance agreements or encroachment agreements, as necessary and grant or accept dedication of lands and/or easements from/to the Developer/Owner for public improvements located outside of existing public fee title or easement right-of-ways.
